Freestyle Aerials
Following 10 years of intensive training, Valerie achieved an “A” licence, the highest level for Freestyle ski judging.  In 1995 she was the first ever British judge at the World Championships in France and in 1999 was elected Head Judge for the FIS World Championships in Switzerland.

She was short-listed as Head Judge for the Olympic Games in Salt Lake City in 2002.  However, she was busy standing for election to the local Council, so turned down the chance.
